And the 2016-2017 Season Comes to a Close

Our 7th year has been wonderful. I'm sure you'll agree.

The first part of the year included our Christmas Concert offerings, supporting the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Authority holiday dinner,  and the Messiah Sing-Along; all great fun.  Midyear we offered Schubert's Mass in G including instruments and soloists. Look below for more on these concerts.

Our last concert this year, and the last concert for the Celebration Singers, was the traditional Singers Choice concert.  It was, as always, great fun and included music such as Happy, You've Got A Friend in Me, Shenandoah, a mellow composition titled The Seal Lullaby, and in tribute to Leonard Cohen, who passed away this year, Halleluhah.

As we move forward into the 2017-2018 season we do so with a new spirit and a new name.  We are now the Lake Ridge Chorale.  The name reflects the maturation our choir and reminds us and our audience of who we've become.
